For over 25 years, Asp Consult has been providing Compliance Engineering and Quality Assurance/Control services, primarily in the fields of Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Power-to-X, and Power Generation. • Design Review: Evaluation of proposed designs and specifications based on legislative requirements, EU Directives, standards, and engineering requirements.
• Specification Focus: Ensuring detailed and precise specifications are provided to equipment suppliers.
• Documentation Review: Assessing supplier documentation to ensure compliance with requirements.
• CE Marking Strategies: Developing CE marking strategies, compliance plans, and registers (PED, ATEX, MD, etc.).
• Inspection and Test Plans: Emphasizing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) at the EPC contractor level and for equipment suppliers, ensuring necessary focus on required tests, inspections, and associated documentation (IAT, FAT, and SAT).
• Quality Management Systems: Implementing Quality Management Systems and subsystems to support the above activities.
• Kick-off Meetings and Audits: Conducting kick-off meetings and value-based quality audits of equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Quality Inspection: Performing quality inspections at equipment suppliers according to ITPs, IAT, FAT, and other inspection programs. Where necessary, inspections are conducted using our extensive experience with legislative requirements and recognized standards for a wide range of products, equipment, and functional units.
• Reporting: Providing high-quality and timely reporting, including final approval if necessary.

Third-Party Liaison:

• Engaging with National Authorities, Notified Bodies (NoBo’s), Class Societies, Certifying Authorities, and other second or third-party inspectors as needed.

Experience and Certifications:

• Approximately 20 years of experience gained from DNV AS, Denmark (Det Norske Veritas). Typical for major projects.
• CompEx certified ATEX Application Design Engineer (CompEx Ex12A/B).
• CompEx certified ATEX Installation and Inspection Engineer (CompEx Ex04 to Ex04).

CompEx is a Globally recognized ATEX/IECEx certification for ATEX equipment and installations.
